Let’s talk about the three components that are needed to have a good lead generation campaign.
Online Lead Generation is a Team Sport
I want you to think about lead generation like it’s a relay race. Let’s say there are three runners, each one of those runners has to be as good as the other because if one is not as good as the other two, you won’t win that race. One runner hands the baton to another runner, who hands the baton to another runner. That’s exactly how online lead generation works.
The Big Three
The components are social media so that you can run paid advertising. That advertising will then go and hand off the baton to a website landing page and then that web page will hand the baton off to (and this is the one that people forget about) a CRM to collect the information.
Those three components are crucial, if any one of those is weaker than the other, you will not be effective at online lead generation. You will not get the results that you want, and I’ve seen it a million times.
